I live in Brampton. It's a predominantly visible minority community. ;-)

I noticed very few of them wearing poppies these past few days.
So what?

They do what they want to with little regard to the history of this town or this country.
There is no melting pot.

From my perspective anyway.

"I listened to discussions on talk radio.. NO ONE actually looked at Brampton and downtown Toronto to see if he was right about folks in those communities as a rule not wearing poppies ... Interesting times...

Funny being only second gen on the dad side..

One host says .. I was in Brampton schools.. they put on remembrance day plays.. so WTF that has to do with regular folks in the streets wearing poppies I dunno...

I am glad the 60s early 70s were in my gen... today.. it seems like bizarro world...
