Skeeter, thanks. Not sure where it's going to be in January, but IMHO there just aren't any "condiments" (i.e. press releases, wacky internal buyouts on the last day of the Q, analyst "research"/commentary etc.) tastey enough going to make this multi-billion dollar cow chip of a company long-term edible.

And the weird thing is, the trader in me wants to put the FA guy in the closet and maybe look at playing any short-term dead cat bounce. Maybe it's time for another sanity check.

The NYT had another article on a potential breakthrough in chip design. IBM engineers have apparently found a way to use copper in the making of IC's that overcomes the old problem of the copper bleeding into the silicon. Would be nice to see that kind of technological breakthrough out of MU, as opposed to PR breakthroughs.

Thestreet.com's daily e-mail had the estimate now at .46. Don't know which service it came from. Wasn't the consensus number mid-.50's only a month or so ago?

No matter what happens you just know some "analyst"/commentator is going to vomit back the party line out of Boise. I'm more interested in how the analysts I'm not familiar with react to the earnings. My AWAC's are always looking for over-rated "talent" to bet against <g>

Good trading,

Tom
