OT: Public Apology:
It appears that in the heat of today's bashhole fracas I jumped to conclusions. Specifically stating that captain_kirk911 was the same poster as Capt J T Kirk of SI.
Although Capt J T Kirk does post on the SI PLNI "unmoderated" board, and has vocalized his having sold at the last low for a loss, and that he does associate with scionist, shortsinthesand, Jeff Mitchell, yardslave, and Harold S. who have taken the position that PLNI is a scam, in the interest of being fair-minded, I need to apologise to him for linking him to captain_kirk911.
In retrospect it is sad that I or anyone else should jump to such a conclusion based upon the content of post, the name association, and the bashholes that came to his defense.
There are two lessons to be learned here.
(1) In my case, "Trust but verify" before posting.
(2) In Capt. JT Kirk's case, you are judged by the company you keep, just as I am. Neither of us are as portrayed.
This apology was unsolicited. I am truly sorry if I mislead other's to think that this was Capt JT Kirk of SI.
