one of biotechs greatest mysteries is--why it is so pleasureable to lose money? yes i also have a lot of boring winners like csco, bay, intc, slb, ba, msft, etc. but i feel like a dog in heat always lusting after those damn biotechs! however, i am very cautious about putting lots of $ into them (now only 10% of my portfolio) until i see steady earnings growth. my question to you or anyone else on this thread--when will we have enough approved drugs to have CONSISTENT earnings growth--or more importantly--consistent growth in stock price of at least 6-12 stocks, with a few predictable industry leaders? i would guess 1998-1999.
