I was also surprised the market did not react more favorably to the great news from GZTC today. Maybe the general public did not understand the significance of production of human protein in a transgenic animal. The news release did not explain what is a transgenic animal. There has been other good news lately that has been ignored (Chiron's test for breast cancer test). At least AFFX went up today with news of the deal with Pfizer, but it is only making up for recent losses. Perhaps it is because the market is too jittery about interest rates recently and people do not want to put money in risky stocks like biotechs under the current market environment. My portfolio kind of looks like the VD Model these days, half up and half down. Investing in biotechs has been exciting but also very frustrating. That is why I am looking into supply companies with earnings and also clinical trial companies. Thanks for the input in these areas. Frances
