here's a really neat site to check out.... i have just recently had the pleasure of exchanging emails with the creator of this helpful and informative computer site, Computer Gripes. his name is michael horowitz, and i am impressed with what i have seen there so far. computergripes.com what originally got me to michael's comprehensive site was the zonealarm link, and the info he is assembling on that firewall computergripes.com i was able to share with michael one of the za configuration settings that works for me in win2000, involving the 'services and controller app'. fortunately, michael says the setting works for him too. very cool. <g3> [i see now that michael has even put my name on his za page, acknowledging the tip i provided him. thanks, man!] i expect to be spending a lot more time exploring the Computer Gripes site. :) mark
