John / Natural Gas - Supply and Demand

The cleaner fuel. No doubt future is bright for natural gas, especially in North America. If the Ozone Man is elected President of U.S. next election, expect further pushing of the commodity.

Atomic energy definitely is no longer thought as a solution to meet energy needs of the U.S. My dad worked his entire life with Niagra Mohawk Power Corp. which has suffered millions of dollars in losses from their facility - and still are experiencing serious problems.

Demand for natural gas over long term is onward and upward. There will be times when the price falls back, but it will be a blimp on a chart a few years down the road. Quite a few months ago when oil was in, as a result of higher prices, I offered a contrary view -- strongly suggesting that investment in companies weighted in favor of natural gas was the thing to act upon. The ongoing price for gas (NYMEX) was less than $2.00 at the time. At the time, I also suggested that western natural gas producers could experience flat production rates over the next two years and still automatically grow by 50% as a result of an anticipated increase in commodity pricing.

Bottom line, I love the future for natural gas.
