xcentral, excellent post as always. I do think that since Americhip decided to go in-house with LACC after getting nowhere with licensing and integrating into customer manufacturing line, explaining the long delay in realizing revenue from using the process. And the reason for that delay, is clearly outlined in your Point #2.
I think Walter, and back then, Rossmann, were confident big auto makers and Oil Pipe were so impressed with process they were just going to sign off and install LACC into their factories. Clearly all the points you noted came into play so when Americhip changed course and started purchasing all that machining equipment, more lasers, new tech's hired and new sales staff, and most importantly, brought in Roger Pacquette, it was then to produce the parts in-house and prove LACC's worth as the low cost supplier. Which clearly they have begun to find success with.
Time was lost. Shares were issued and sold to finance.
And now it looks like LACC finally has a shot at proving itself once and for all.
No obstacles. Just meet the specs and let LACC competitive advantage take its course. Now we need to see the Eaton PPAP kick this thing into gear!,...
pun intended.LOL
