Amati could be selling 500,000 modems (VDSL & some ADSL early) just from the alleged-prospective 4-year NEC/HKT deal, annoucement of which (from an earlier posting about an AsiaTELECOM 97 report) could be anticipated some time around July 1 (not that it necessarily will be).
