On the other hand he doesn't waste his time whining to politicians.
Bwaaaahahahahaahaaa! Good one John, I missed it the first time around. So, last month's "World up in flames without Windows 98" show wasn't whining, it was just substantive and factual argument, right? People you disagree with are whining crybabies and commies, and people you agree with are honest, forthright, and intelligent. And words mean what we want them to mean, like, war is peace, ignorance is strength, and Windows is open. The last of those three is the current TRUTH according to Bill, you know.
Somehow, I get the feeling you know as much about the law of the land as Reggie does, with the similar substantive underlying philosophy. Microsoft Rules! I'm still a bit confused by the relation between the dead issue consent decree and the somewhat more, er, substantial Sherman action currently under way, but I'll wait to read some real reporting on that. Haven't kept up today, I spent way too much time struggling with the integrity and uniformity of the Windows experience, trying to recover from a disk crash. I sure hope Windows 98 sucks less, because if it sucked any more than Windows 95, Y2k would look like a picnic by comparison.
Cheers, Dan. |
