Don Cherry was standing up and paying respect and deferance to all dead Canadian Veterans that fought for us throughout all the wars since World War 1, live Canadian Veterans, and all active soldiers in our military today.

Not wearing a poppy on Remembrance day is an insult to all the people above. Don Cherry told everyone that.

This is a far bigger issue than Don Cherry. If we can't wear a poppy on Remembrance day to show our respect to those that fight for our country, what does that say about us?
