I agree wholeheartedly, Ameritrade is playing it smart. Does anyone think they would be continuing their present ad campaign at great expense if it wasnt generating new customer base to justify it? As far as the problems are concerned, they are fully aware and are working as fast as new account additions justify. This problem will be solved as technology moves on. I too missed the point on AOL as I owned it at under 10. This wont happen this time and if anyone wants to sell out, now is a good time and then short if they are so sure things arent what they are supposed to be....Joe Rickett is a cool hand and knows how to build. A couple of years down the road he will have established a major firm in the online trading business that is developing. My guess is the he already has the jump on other competitors...Gil
