M&A coming? How 'bout KGC buying GSS... Kinross is looking at acquisitions and "wants to operate in Ghana." reuters.com Kinross gobbling up GSS fits the bill. And this fits with MineWeb's expectation of Kinross possibly doing a near term share offering to fund it. Obviously you want to own the acquiree, not the acquirer. ABX with their de-hedging may be out of the game. NEM has done a really good job operationally, turning a big ship around, and GG still has that rock solid balance sheet and lots of cash. Could get real intresting... AUY & JAG would also make nice targets for the majors. Let the M&A begin! Friday's buy of AEM, HL, and SLW is turning out to be a very nice bounce trade.
