I did and the single greatest pain reliever during every episode was the use of a zero gravity chair.
I haven't had a back episode for several years but I still keep the chair just in case. As I recall, it was about $2800. But worth it many times over for the relief that it brought when you have those days or weeks on end where the pain is extreme.
