Hi Todd: I'v not read an original Prospetis on AOL But I'll bet
it has a clause like the following
---------------------------------------------------------------------- IN CONNECTION
WITH THIS OFFERING, THE UNDERWRITERS MAY OVER-ALLOT OR EFFECT
TRANSACTIONS WHICH STABILIZE OR MAINTAIN THE MARKET PRICE OF
THE COMMON STOCK AT A LEVEL ABOVE THAT WHICH MIGHT
OTHERWISE PREVAIL IN THE OPEN MARKET. SUCH TRANSACTIONS MAY
BE EFFECTED ON THE NATIONAL MARKET, THE
OVER-THE-COUNTER MARKET OR OTHERWISE. SUCH STABILIZING, IF
COMMENCED, MAY BE DISCONTINUED AT ANY TIME.
---------------------------------------------------------
the or effect transactions is a broad cover your rear statement,
RS..the underwriter likly got enough warrents to BUY this stock
at $5 when it went public..to be able to short sell her, untill
she goes chater 11..all that's holding her up now is the shorts
playing her..sure he will be bullish..thats the way it works
when you hold the ases..the higher he can hold her the more
he gets for his short sells, ( his warrents cover his rear )
every time she goes down he buys some back..to pay back what
he shorted..AOL did a real market snow job on 8 million mullets
signing up for a service that can't half work..and scaming
them into a 16bit busy signal, bunch of garbage..and they
know how to scam..and got RS..who is also good at it to
underwrite the shares..it's another Centennial..but much bigger,
Jim
