Actually, the gist of the story is true, that was just a link to the wrong article. The discounts cleared out Model 3 and Model Y inventory nationwide 3 days ago. It's almost impossible to get your hands on one now and it probably won't be much better when the new IRA incentives go into effect at the beginning of the year:
