Richard,

I agree, made a lot of good/great plays until this one. CPU put a big ding in the portfolio quarter panel.

I think that there will be a place for brick and mortar. CPU could be this place if they take the action the market demands. I also think that Halpin is not the man. I think short term we are going to see 1 to 2 point bounces up and down. To break 12 we will need major news or a couple of good quarters. The good news is that once this is back on track with a couple of good quarters then upward movement north of 12 will come fast.

This was my single worst call in the last five years. The last really bad call was a little fast food joint called Checkers. Two days after I went really long (on a tip from my buddies brother who works on the street) the CEO gets named in a class-action suit, that turned out to be based on the truth; for a change. Lost a bundle on that one.

I think the street is going to punish CPU for a while, but one thing I do know is that you never know when they are going to change their mind.

Wish I had more answers and I wish CPU management did a little bit more to show that they are aware of shareholder value, and they do the right things to restore it.

Good Luck

Thurston
