BBN Corp.-Activity -2: Stock Up 7.5% At 21 5/8 -- BBN
NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--BBN Corp. (BBN), in response to a request by the New York Stock Exchange, declined to comment on unusual market activity in its stock, citing company policy.
The New York Stock Exchange had contacted the company requesting that it issue a public statement indicating whether there are any corporate developments which may explain the unusual market activity.
The company's stock has increased since April 21, when it closed at 15 3/4. On Friday, BBN's stock closed at 20 1/8. Earlier Monday, BBN Corp. was trading at 21 5/8, up 1 1/2, or 7.5%, on composite volume of 518,200 shares. Average daily volume is 110,401 shares.
