WEIN was on the offer late last week, today, they have been on the bid. Looks like they are trying to pick up some paper today. Fahnstock (they have a lot of money to make a box with) has basically traded the stock over the last week, I always look for FAHN to see where they go. They are known BIG short players, and will hold the short for years if they think it is the right trade, but so far, they have just been trading the stock. Also, it's not always MM's that short. Big players make a lot of money shorting BB stocks that run up, they trade through the MM. Anyone can open up an account with an MM, if you trade enough with them, and at the right dollar levels. They become your "broker". So, what you will see is a private person with a relationship (normally offshore investor) feed the paper into a fast running stock, and then cover when the buying dries. So don't think it's just the MM's who are trading against you. Now for the good mews - stock is trading well today, no hype, no volatility. Good time to build a base. Let's hope it holds, it will be a positive sign. Someone asked why do you want to see the financials when it is a start up ???? We all know the financial situation, but the thing I look for is how the deal is put together. That has always been my line of questioning. The structure of the shell and all financing's are whats important. That's how I find out at what price and when the paper comes out of the deal. That is not a bad thing to say, take it for what it is, a statement of fact, and one that all investors usually fail to pay attention to. Good luck to all.
