Isn't Medicaid a price-controlling mechanism, run by Gov't bureaucrats? That's what price controls will do for the rest of the medical system if gov't becomes more heavily involved. No I haven't been in a nursing home, and you can cry and moan all you want. Doesn't gov't mandate the destitute requirements on people to be eligible for price controlled long term care? You get what you ask for. Your arguments are precisely the reasons why gov't involvement and price controls are the worst thing that could happen to the medical field.jmo
