Your plan sounds good, not too much margin I hope, and I don't see a reason to sell covered calls unless scalping change from short-term trading, but I don't tend to do that...and I don't know the first thing about buying puts, as it goes against my basic sentiment, which is to invest in stocks I'm bullish on...

Selling puts when oversold is a great idea I think, very good to do on QCOM, now not the time tho, as you say.
