Well IGT is at layer two, not layer three. The market for merchant semiconductor chips at layers two and three is just getting started. PMCS decided to increase their R&D spending since their customers want a broader range of products from them. I hate companies that see opportunity and invest for the future at the expense of 1% to 2% of short term earnings growth. Damn those guys! I'm sure Mr. Bulldozer will have lots more to say on the layer two market.... TD
