Yes, jimisjim, but you seem content to hold companies that have systematically and significantly reduced their share count over the years, companies like LMT, for example.

I prefer a heavier allocation to dividends, but I am not doctrinaire about it. I think reducing the share count over time can be supportive of an increased dividend per share - it is not automagically so, but it can be. A lot depends on the individual company and its management.
