I do have a double weight in APU. I've held that in another account and it seems to hold a steady share price while paying 7% on a regular basis. I have had much more stress with other stocks especially in the energy sectors. Are you warning that the company is arranged as a partnership for tax reasons but I defer taxes in my IRA so it's not an advantage. I thought haveing little to no UBTI was a good thing in an IRA. I confess I did not read enough previous posts on this subject to understand the implications, I mostly just looked at the price for the couple of years and it seemed pretty stable.

As to the quantity of stocks. I don't want to own more companies than I have time to look at. After all, there is more to retirement than watching the ticker. When you say to look at other stocks do you mean because they are in other sectors that I haven't covered, or just to hedge the risk of a surprise in a single name.
