The leftists are anti-American because, well, because they are. I thought you'd agreed that it was appropriate to call folks who'd made generic anti-American statements were anti-American - examples Sheehan, DeGenova, Churchill, Michael Moore, Chomsky. You'd be better off saying in your opinion some or most liberals aren't and some are instead of defending all leftists. This escalation of insults and propaganda between the sides is not good for our country. Every once in a while I feel like I have to stand up against it even though I know it's futile. I can direct you to any number of leftwing threads where insults and propaganda are much more common than here if you'd like. Seriously, how many posts would it take to answer the question "why is hating Bush's acts the same hating America? Thats a strawman argument. Particularly inappropriate right now when the conservative base is outraged at Bush's support for a "bipartisan" immigration bill.
