For the record and to document activity of this matter: I originally wrote and called several law firms in NYC that deal with securities and matters relating to lawful research and what an average investor can expect when doing verification on a stock that is owned by an investor. Here is a response from one counsel that I did not retain as they do not handle individuals, however, they did read this thread, spoke with me at length and have advised the following:

Dear Ms. Deaner:

Unfortunately, we do not represent individuals in securities actions. You
raise some grave concerns about the efficacy of this company and their
treatment of you. I suggest you bring any concerns to the attention of the
SEC and report any threats to the proper authorities.
