Hello;

Here is something I found elsewhere on the web. This is from Dick Young's Investment newsletter, most recent month's edition. The name of the newsletter is Intelligence Report. personally, and these are my opinions only, I have been a subscriber on and off over many years, and have found him to be very informed and "...he makes sense...".

ConAgra Foods, Inc. (NYSE: CAG)

From consumer brands at the grocery store to food service brands served in restaurants, hotels, schools, and other institutions, ConAgra Foods, Inc. accrues $26 billion in annual sales. It is the largest food service manufacturer and the second-largest retail food supplier in North America. The company is best known for such household brands as Healthy Choice, Butterball, Banquet, Hunt’s, Orville Redenbacher’s, Reddi-wip, Slim Jim and Armour. The company is a product powerhouse with 33 brand names. Approximately $5 billion in revenue is generated from processing, merchandising and transporting basic foods, as well as the sale and distribution of crop inputs and agricultural planning software.

This leading food company will soon be hitting the supermarket shelves with gourmet frozen foods. Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck and ConAgra have agreed to develop a line of gourmet food products under Puck’s name. The line will include frozen entrees, pizzas and side dishes. ConAgra already sells frozen foods with brands such as Marie Callender’s, Healthy Choice, Banquet and Kid Cuisine frozen entrees. Banquet, America’s #1 frozen brand, has been providing meals for over 45 years and was one of the first innovators in frozen foods with Banquet Pot Pies in 1953.

Last year the company increased its dividends for the 23rd consecutive year. Its compound annual growth rate has been at 15% for over a decade.
