To all:

If an investor is that interested in investing in the Dow 10, my suggestion, especially for beginning investors with little capital, is to consider buying either the Top 5, of the Top 2 - 5 via Dividend Reinvestment Plans. It doesn't take a lot of $$$ to get in and once you are in, you skip paying broker's fees, usually, that is, until you decide to sell. The only drawback is you can only buy/sell on certain dates, but if you are investing for the long term, it's the BEST way to go. Plus, you skip paying a mutual fund's fee expense ratio. Just something to think about. Granted, sometimes a stock moves up or down (or sometimes OUT) of the Dow 10, however, by investing in the Top 5, you will likely be buying stocks that will REMAIN in the Dow 10. I'm interested to hear from everyone what their thoughts are regarding this type of investing in the Dow 10...
