I think its eminently fair to accept people as socialist who proclaimed they were socialist. National socialism, remember? That they were hostile to international socialism doesn't change that ... the feuds in the socialist world are well known. You should get over your biases toward Christians. Bible believing Christians are virtually the ONLY sizeable group people who support Jews or Israel today. Liberals are becoming more and more open about their hostility toward both. Even some Jewish liberals are joining in.
