I already responded to that post on the other thread which you seem to be very active on, so I would have thought you read it, but I will repost it again. And by the way, Bob Brinker and I have different views on many things and I no longer follow his timing model for purposes of my asset allocation. I also don't share his view that we are in a secular bull market (which you may know that he retroactively designated last year).

That SPY back in Jan of this year constituted 5% of my newsletter portfolio and it was stopped out shortly thereafter as the trade although initially profitable, turned south with the market. My philosophy on trading is to use relatively tight stop losses to minimize losses and then use trailing stop losses as the security goes up to ride the profits for as long as possible while simultaneously keeping the emotion out of the equation as selling is always more difficult then buying.
