That kind of action is the same I got when I was having problems. Dialup worked fine...as a matter of fact..faster than cable if and when I could get through. Dialup connections and broadband connections are routed through different systems and so have different problems. My problems lasted a few days and then cleared up. The hangup was with something called alter.net on my problems. I sometimes would suffer 100% packet loss.
