Peter, I took in the video on a catch-as-catch-can basis -- i.e., on interrupts in between conference calls, and found it very useful and enlightening, despite some moments of irritation and grating on my nerves caused by one of the shills during the second panel hearing. During the last half hour or so, while I didn't agree with everything they stated, I nonetheless thought that Wolf of Qualcomm and Telcordia's Drobat did an exceptionally good job of fielding questions concerning some highly critical areas surrounding basic research and education. Some of the revelations concerning the USF and the USDA's grant and loans program were rather appalling, too, as covered in the first session. I wasn't aware that the USDA's programs had ground to the halt that it has, nor the reasons cited, and in which communities monies were actually being spent and not spent. Thanks again. FAC
