Tim, the screwball right wingers on the Si threads have barred me for consistently opposing Bush policies abroad in particular with Iraq. He has no damn right to go and violate a nation's sovereignty by ordering in troops against the Security Council vote.

But then when it comes to preserving the US and closing its borders, I am all for keeping the US borders closed. We have a very liberal asylum policy. We also have a very good legal immigration policy and the guest worker program through the H1B visas. This country has benefited tremendously through legal guest worker programs (H1B visas). I am totally for preventing illegal immigration, no amnesty whatsover. No one has the right to walk across our borders and violate our sovereignty in as much as Bush does not have the right to order the US military to march across someone else's border.
