Bonnie, back when the market acted normally (pre 1986 breakout)
it was fairly easy to analyze the market - buy when newspapers
had headlines telling us how bad things are, and sell when the headlines told us how good things are.

Unemployment at all time high, factory production at all time low,
BUY.

Unemployment at all time low, factory production at all time high,
SELL.

Ah, the good old days.

In a very general sense, we should be good for the McClellan summation index getting back to 1500 - 2000 on a normalized basis
until we have to have a good look at things.

Don't know about chip stocks, but they have come down a long way already.
