Hi Timetobuy,

It is refreshing to hear some one discuss the term "base".

To older investors bases mean building strength for more tomorrow.

In the "GOGOGO" days of late a base is a forgotten phenomenon.I think to the disgust of many- bases will be relearned.Many will call them long cliffs overlooking the Abyss.

In fact they are very constructive - of course many times they end with a quick final shakeout.I think it is important to remember,in general,they build strength. As in the longer the better.
