12:32 ET Cisco Systems (CSCO) 19.99 +0.74: -- Update -- Sources at Lehman Brothers telling us that they spoke with CSCO on the
speculation that CSCO had already issued and priced options for its employees. CSCO confirmed as of now, it had not and indicated that
they are aiming to do so toward end of May. Lehman said that as part of a competitor upgrade this morning (Morgan Stanley), the analyst
suggested CSCO had already issued and priced additional options. Lehman remains positive on CSCO and believes this news with respect
to timing of date of options issuance and pricing may affect tone of mgmt conference call this evening.

12:29 ET Optical Equipment Stks : CSFB comments on Ciena (CIEN) contract announcement in an intra-day note; says checks indicate
that LU and NT were incumbents at the account, indicating share gain for CIEN. Firm continues to believe that best-in-class suppliers such
as CIEN, ONIS, and CORV (as the long haul mkt recovers) will continue to gain share in the optical systems market; expects product-cycle
stocks to outperform the large system integrators over the next 12 months.
