I know, the hype was incredible. That's why Kamen stayed away from the media for a while; of course it also helps get it publicized.

Yes price and weight will help, but won't happen for awhile until production ramps up and energy tech improves.

As far as stairs, I thought about that, but if the thing goes up ramps, which are everywhere, it looks like their think is to park it near your office. They are so small, when you work out the calcs I imagine the "vehicle person density" is such that you get more persons' vehicles in a given area than cars, by 3-6 times, in fact as I think about it, on a single 14' high parking garage-type floor, you could shelve these things on multiple levels.

And w. Kamen's willingness to add ingenuity, just imagine automating these pups to put themselves away somewhere, and then come get you when you need them! Just use your little key clicker, and bingo, here comes Ginger in a couple minutes. Or to go get groceries for you, navigating by various means.

The safety level is improved by slow speed and small size, to be an independent pre-robotic delivery vehicle. Cool...
