DJ Cisco Results -3: Co Cites Macroeconomic Forces Ø 08 May 16:39 Cisco provided no future earnings guidance in its third quarter release, but said that it believes that the basic issues it confronts are related to macroeconomics and capital spending. According to Cisco, the recent past has demonstrated that new economy can decelerate as rapidly as it accelerates. "It is now clear to us that the valleys will be much lower, and the movement between the peaks and valleys will be much faster," said chief executive and chairman John Chambers in a press release.
