Because the information regarding quarterly earnings has value in and of itself, stocks usually "sell on the news" -- even if it's relatively good news. Now it's speculation until more solid info comes from the company in three months. MU was off about 2 today. What hit the telecomm related stocks today was the Nortel warning. Sorry, I don't have the link handy -- check the TLAB or VTSS threads cause I know it's there. I think we came back rather nicely after going over the cliff with all the rest there about 1:30 EDT. Not many in the general sector closed up on the day like PMCS did. ChrisMeister
