Last year's release of the OASIS Data Processing System for DOS launched a new generation of software tools designed to

used Geosoft solutions for many years. Dave Skelton, Project Geologist in Vancouver, Beta-tested both OASIS montaj
and OASIS for DOS and provided us with many valuable insights When asked how he uses OASIS products, Dave replied:

"I use the software package primarily for the processing and post-processing of both ground and airborne
geophysical data. Processing involves editing, correction, and filtering to product a quality dataset. The resulting
data is then gridded with the appropriate algorithm and further analysed by applying the various FFT techniques
available in the MAGMAP module such as calculated derivatives.
In OASIS for DOS, these processes can be performed accurately and efficiently since the data can be viewed
simultaneously in both spreadsheet and profile form. OASIS montaj takes this one step further, adding the ability
to link gridded data to the spreadsheets and profiles. The result is a versatile software package that allows the
user to effectively manage geophysical data for practical applications."
