The Aerial rep did warn me that if I were to discontinue service I might have trouble making use of the Ericson or Nokia phone Aerial requires me to buy because few if any other systems in US offer GSM. I guess I'd have to try to sell the phone in Europe! Don't know if company regards this high "switching cost" an advantage for them, but it is certainly a disadvantage for the customer because it locks them in unless they are willing to lose the sunk cost of the phone.
