i bought 300 aol at 34.

Fundamentals: monopoly on consumer online services. steadily rising subscriber base. Prodigy and compuserve don't/can't compete. Enormouse franchise with teenagers (chat rooms; games) and investors (motley fool BBs). Many of their services cannot be duplicated over the internet, such as chat rooms.

Value pricing; you get internet access and aol content for $19.99; the only competition is ISP providers, but they have no special content.

aol provides content (that people really want) and internet access for only a $5-7 premium; its unbeatable at present. Also, with exclusive deals like the tele-save deal, more customers will sign on to take advantage of these "coupons". The potential for milking this "other revenue" is tremendous.

technicals: above 200 day and 50 day MA's; up on nice volume, too.
