That was a fabulously succint explanation. Too bad it'll fall on deaf ears! They didn't believe me when I posted the Barron's article in its entirety about said floorless convertible offerings, vis a vis Reg S from 1/97 Barrons. Seems the only way folks learn about floorless convertibles is being beaten to death by being long one. If folks who might be tempted to listen would like to see a chart representation of what happens to a price in a floorless convertible, I'd suggest they go back in this thread, dig up that post and pull up the price action charts in the 5 or 6 stx listed by Barrons as primo examples. Them who hath ears, let'em hear! O/49r
