Duncan, I have stayed away because I don't like "noisy" threads and this one is getting loud.

I have been puzzled by the $100M long distance deal ever since it went down. How long do you think before the internet itself will be the long distance carrier for both voice and video? A year or two or whenever they can solve the bandwidth problem?

What will AOL be pushing then? AOL subscribers, if there is any left at that time, would certainly push for no cost long distance rather than clicking on some blicking banner.

Still thoroughly enjoying all the games being played on AOL. I think there was a mild short squeeze and big boys unloaded what they could. Interesting to see the next direction.

Your thoughts?

Ramsey
