Just 41% Believe Iraq Will Become Peaceful and Free

54% Say That's Not Likely

The latest survey also found that just 41% of American voters believe that the U.S. is safer today than it was before the 9/11 attacks. That result is similar to levels just before the President's Press Conference a month ago.

Fifty-one percent (51%) of voters now believe that the best way to deal with terrorism is to work with the international community. Forty-one percent (41%) say the most effective approach is to let terrorists know we will fight back aggressively.
