I think they will resolve the resolution issue on the PlayStation 3 soon enough but it was still a ridiculous oversight.

Aren't most of their new displays 1080p?

I almost prepaid in the summer for a PS3 and now I am so glad that I didn't as I am leaning towards the Wii. I just like the Nintendo lineup. My first computer was an Apple II+ so I am from the generation of the mighty Nintendo games of yore LOL
