I know your reply to me was that you were a hardware guy, but my point was that you still need a lot of NT servers in order to scale up. For example, INTC could make a mobo/chipset that supported more than 4 processors as costs come down and components shrink. However, NT can only address 4 processors for now, hence the need for clustering multiple boxes. So that means greater sales of hardware due to limitations of software.
Yes we agree on the consumer market as you once said, and yes I agree with you, to a certain extent on the business world. Take a look at this post to see why I only agree to a certain extent:

However, I still think we need ever more powerful servers which is the market that DELL needs to keep growing in.
