You are right. The smart thing would be to ignore them. But I have a hard time doing that. I don't want silence to look like assent. The guy on the Kahuna, who started this fracas, now thinks there is some sort of silent majority that sympathizes with him as he posts by himself there. Talking about how he was slandered and the subject of calumnies. this from a guy who called everyone who posted to him "dolts".

I am not, by nature, a quite person.
