You are correct that Intel's new MMX technology will incorporate features of some of Diamond's products at the chip level, but this process has been going on since the PC industry began. All companies that might be displaced by new technology agressively look to create new and more advanced technology themselves or buy that technology, then the cycle starts all over again. Those who don't become notations in the back of a history book. Diamond is a well-managed company, which lots of ideas and energy, and will apply that to create the next generation of multimedia products. Good luck with your investing.
