Art and Paul, The reason I like the Motley Fool strategy is because it helped me to become disciplined in selecting stocks. I am not saying it is the ideal solution. I incorporate some of the principles to my selection process. Ideally it would be fun to come up with a comprehensive index that combines the features I mentioned, AND things like book-to-bill ratio, ROE, indexing, dividend yield,... to create a unique "Round Table Score".
